We are available in the east mountain area of Albuquerque, where expert care in the field of acute care medicine, that often necessitates higher level of expertise, is rare or unavailable, in our experience.
Please note however, that we are not a substitute to your primary care health care provider. We are here and available to allow you to receive care when you need it, or to enhance your quality of care if you are in need of seeing us as consultation
While Urgent care clinics or Walk-in Care facilities make themselves available for minor illnesses and injuries, here at the Pineridge Urgent Care we treat an overwhelming proportion of problems that otherwise the patient would have to wait in the emergency room long hours and hence the costly ER treatments.
Here at Pineridge Medical Center/Urgent Care, no appointment is required. The only reason you need in order to be seen is that you feel that you need to be seen now.
While many Urgent Care centers and Walk-in Clinics are operated by “lower level health care professionals, such as physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and/or general practitioners of medicine, here at the Pineridge Medical Surgical Urgent Care, you will be evaluated and treated by a seasoned, highly experienced, Board Certified emergency medicine physician and often receive care that is higher in expertise and acuity than your regular primary care practitioner that you are accustomed to.
When the situation warrants, you will get answers in our on-site diagnostic testing, and treatment, often the first dose of medicine and/or therapies are provided for you on the same visit. This allows our patient to just go home and rest until hrs later when they are able to do so, especially in an adverse weather condition, common in our mountainous environment
If required, and by appointment, our facility can be made available for after-hours problems, injuries or ailments and provide almost the same services as performed by A.Manoutchehri, MD, PC, BC/EM.
